You must have TCP/IP protocol installed. Check for your OS as described below or ask your administrator.
- Windows NT:
- Open Control Panel and click Network icon. Go to Protocols and confirm if TCP/IP is installed.
- Windows 2000:
- Open Control Panel. Open Network and Dialup Connections. Go to LAN, Properties button. If you can browse Internet Protocol TCP/IP, your PC is connected over TCP/IP.
- UNIX:
- IP address is set up in" /etc/hosts" file.
If your TCP/IP is not set up, for Windows,
- Go to Properties of TCP/IP Protocol.
- Enter IP address.
For example: 10.0.0.1 - Start web server.
Enter IP address set up in 1 and access from browser.

Note: You need an Ethernet Board or Network Card to set this up.
