IP address changes

How can I use Share360 after the server IP address changes?

If your IP address changes due to server migration,
[Share360] may occur an error because the IP address does not much the one that is registered in your license file.

Please follow the steps below to use [Share360] after IP address changes.

  1. On the destination server, please right click on [Local Area Connection], select [Property].
  2. Select [Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)] and then click on [Properties].
  3. On the [Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) Propaties] screen, please confirm the current IP address, and then click on [Advanced].
  4. Click on [Add] on the [IP addresses].
  5. Add the IP address and subnet mask that is registered in [Share360] license file.
  6. On the [Advanced TCP/IP setting] screen,please confirm the IP address is added properly.
  7. Click on [OK] button, and then close [Local Area Connection Propaties].
  8. Confirm that you can access [Share360] properly with the old server's IP address (registered IP address in the license file).
  9. Confirm that you can access [Share360] properly with the destination server's IP addresss.

- Please be very carefull not to use the registered IP address of license file on the other machine in the intranet.

- After server migration, please announce the access URL with the new IP address to users.
