Hosted Access
You can run Share360 on a hosted server, in order to offload server maintenance to an outside vendor. You must have Administrator or Root privileges on the machine that Share360 is being installed on. Your hosting provider may have to be involved in the installation if you do not have administrative rights on the machine.
If you use Share360 WebMail, mail servers that conduct user authentication with only the AUTH command do not comply with Share360.
Since access to Share360 via hosted services will be made via the Internet, access speed may be slower than with intranet usage.
We now offer 30-day free trial hosting with our partner, Hitachi Software - we can set up a Share360 trial account for you, so you can try Share360 with your own data from anywhere on the web. When you decide to purchase, you can either continue to have Hitachi Software host the application for you (fees determined by Hitachi Software), or you can download and install on your own server after the trial.
