In this page, we explain how to update your Cybozu Office 3 data to Cybozu Office 4.

1. Data Backup

   Please save backup files. Cybozu cannot be responsible for loss of data. To back up the data, save all files in the default install directory.

   • Example -- Save all files under C:\InetPub\scripts\cb3

   Note: Cybozu Office 2 users cannot update directly to Cybozu Office 4 directory. Please refer to the Office 3 support center for help.

2. Install Cybozu Office 4

   Please download and install Cybozu Office 4.

   Note: You do not need to download Project 4 and Web Forms 4 separately if you use these applications. You can activate them from within the Cybozu Office packages.

   For applications you use, you should do the following:

   • When installing, make sure to check all applications for download.
   • After installation, add/change applications by Activating Select Modules in System Settings.

3. Data Overwrite

   Copy Cybozu Office 3 Data files and overwrite them in the Cybozu Office 4 directory.

   • Copy a folder named "data" in the install directory of Cybozu Office 3, then overwrite "data" folder in the install directory of Cybozu Office 4.
   • [!] Make sure you overwrite here. If you delete Cybozu Office 4 data file before overwriting, the data file for Circulation (circular.odb) will be deleted.

   Copy the Attachment file data of Cybozu Office 3 and overwrite the Cybozu Office 4 directory.

   • Copy folders named file in the install directory of Cybozu Office 3, then overwrite the file folder in the install directory of Cybozu Office 4.

4. Confirmation of Successful Update

   Open Cybozu Office 4 and confirm if Cybozu Office 3 data has been transferred properly. Example URLs are as follows:

   • http://(server's hostname or IP address)/scripts/cb4/office.exe?
   • Ex 1) http://bozuman.co.jp/scripts/cb4/office.exe?
   • Ex 2) http://10.0.0.1/scripts/cb4/office.exe?
