System Settings

I want to install in the D drive. (Windows version)

In Office 4, the directories including registered files are created under the install directory, which is selected during installation. You can save Office under the D drive if you select it in the installation process.

Follow these steps:

For example: D:\\cb4

Check if it runs properly.

Is it possible to install Cybozu products/applications in the same directory?

If you install multiple Office products/applications in the same directory, please use the same version and the same number of users for all products/applications. However, the exact same application cannot be installed in the same directory, even with the same version and the same number of users.

If you use different versions or applications with a different number of users, please use different directories. In this situation, the applications installed in different directories cannot be synchronized or merged.

If you install archives of Cybozu Office Japanese version and English version in the same directory, the data may not be reflected to both properly. We do not support any troubleshooting caused by this situation. Please use separate install directories.

I'm trying to access a file, but it won't open.

The file lock feature may be turned on while another user is editing the file. Office 4 automatically turns on this function when a user accesses a file. Please wait until the other user is finished editing the file.

I can't remember my password.

The system administrator needs to reset your password.

Although the system administrator cannot identify the password of a user, the system administrator can change or delete the password as follows:

How do I hide the System Setting icon on the Login page and on the Portal Page?

Hiding the System Setting icon will prevent you from changing various settings. In addition, hiding System Setting will prevent the icon from being displayed for all users.

To hide the System Setting icon:

When you change a setting in System Setting, please reverse the file name to "Setting".

I cannot remember the admin password.

Please delete "admin" file in the "data" directory under the install directory.

Please setup a new password.

What is a Guest User?

Guest Users are Non-registered users who are not registered in the System Setting, and are not considered regular "users" of Office 4. Guest Users are people associated with your work group, but who are not given direct access to use the system.

The Administrator can adjust access permissions for each application (through "settings" links within each application) for Guest Users. See Access Permissions for Guests for more information.
