You can uninstall Cybozu Sync 4 in one of the following two ways:

• Select Cybozu Sync 4 Uninstall from Start > Programs > Cybozu Sync 4 in the Windows menus.
• Choose Cybozu Sync 4 under Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

Cybozu Sync 4 must be installed in the same directory where Palm Desktop Software is installed. In the default settings, the directory is C:\Palm.

Before installing Cybozu Sync 4, please make sure you have installed Palm Desktop Software.

Palm Desktop Software is contained in the CD that comes with each Palm-compatible handheld.

First, start HotSync Manager. If you have already started it, you will see its icon in the task bar of Windows.

Right click the icon and select the Custom... menu. Here you can specify the settings for each conduit.

You cannot synchronize the handheld with other applications while you are using Cybozu Sync 4.

For example, when you synchronize the Palm OS handheld schedule with Cybozu Office 4, you cannot synchronize the handheld with other scheduling software like Palm Desktop or Outlook. Data may be lost as synchronization may not work properly.

You will find the Cybozu Sync Setting Menu in User Setting on the Portal Page.

In the Cybozu Sync Setting Menu, enter User ID No.(6 characters) and Registration Code (20 characters).

If you want to use Cybozu Sync 3 after you try Cybozu Sync 4, follow these steps:

Note: If you do not set up the following, you may see duplicated data in Cybozu Office after synchronization.

At the first synchronization after you revert the setting of conduit from Sync 4 to Sync 3, please do setup as follows.

• Scheduler 3 Sync Action Setting Setup "Cybozu Scheduler 3 overwrites handheld".
• ToDo List 3 Sync Action Setting Setup "Cybozu ToDo List 3 overwrites handheld".
• Address Book 3 Sync Action Setting Setup "Cybozu Address Book 3 overwrites handheld".

Note: You can not use Cybozu Office 3 to synchronize with Cybozu Sync 4.
