Q2. What kind of problems do you have?

At Login Setting of Cybozu Sync Setting, entered URL and press the "Import" button but user information is not imported.

In the Address Field Setting, I cannot find the corresponding fields information.

 
Q3. What kind of errors do you find in the user name.

URL is invalid.
You entered wrong URL. Please confirm URL to access Cybozu Office 4.

Proxy setting is invalid.
You entered wrong Proxy server. Please enter correct server name.

Memory is running short.
Memory of your Client PC is running short. Please close other applications and try again.

Failed to initialize the data library.
Cannot use data library. The data library may have been corrupted. Please reinstall Windows, or use other computer.

Cannot access to the URL.
The server is not operating or the URL does not exist. Please confirm if you can access the URL from your browser.

Cannot connect to the proxy server.
Proxy server is not operating or the entered port is not correct. Please confirm if you entered the port correctly.

Cannot identify the user.
Can access Cybozu Office 4 but files to be used by Cybozu Sync does not exist. You cannot use Cybozu Sync 4 with Cybozu Office 3. Please check the version of Cybozu Office you use.

Cannot connect to the server.
The server may not operate, or you entered wrong serer name. Please check if you can access the server from the browser.

Web Server Authentication required.
Web server requires authentication.
Cybozu Sync 4 only corresponds to "Basic Authentication".
* About Web sever authentication setting, please ask your Web server administrator.
Please press Import button again.
If you go to the page for authentication, please enter User Name and password, and Login.

 

Https is not supported.
Cybozu Sync 4 does not corresponds to https.


Browse nothing
Just on the process to access server. If there are mis-setting or any troubles in network, it may take a minute. Please wait for a while.

 
Q4. Cannot browse anything.

"Address Field Setting for HotSync Action" does not show any fields in the list box.
HotSync was not able to import Field information from the server. Please check server setting in Login Setting sheet.

Cannot browse anything and cannot mover to other tabs.
Just on the process to access server. If there are mis-setting or any troubles in network, it may take a minute. Please wait for a while.

 
Q5. What kind of problems?
Unidentified HotSync Error.

Sync closes properly but data is not synchronized properly.

 
Q6. What kind of error do you find in the log of HotSync?
Memory is running short.
Shortage of PC memory. Close other applications and try again.

Failed to connect to the server.
Server may not be running or setting of the server is incorrect. Check at Conduit Setting.

Failed to Login to Cybozu Office 4.
Entered wrong password. Please enter again in conduit setting.

Failed to connect to handheld.
Error in corresponding to Client PC. If you use cable connection, please confirm if the connector is connected, if set the handheld on cradle properly. If you use modem connection, please check its networking status.

Failed to initialize the user setting.
The following is System Requirement for Cybozu Sync 4. Please check your system environment.
Server
Cybozu Office 4 is installed in the server.

Network
Cybozu Office 4 is accessed from the Client PC.

Client PC
Palm Desktop application is installed in the Client PC.
Client PC needs to connected with cradle of PalmOS handheld and be ready for synchronization.

Conduit Setting
In HotSync Manager, conduit setting to synchronize with Cybozu Office 4 is done.
For details;


Access was denied by Web server
Failed in User authentication process.
Cybozu Sync is not corresponding to other than Basic Authentication.
Please confirm your Web server administrator about Authentication system used for your Web browser.

Trial period has expired.
If you want to keep using, please purchase License.

 
Q7. Which pattern?

The following data is not synchronized.

Schedule

Data not to be synchronized from Cybozu Office 4 to PalmOS handheld.
Weekly recurrent schedule for weekdays more than one weekday. (Ex: Recurrent schedule on Mondays and Wednesdays)
Weekly recurrent schedule for not every one week. (Ex: Every other week)
Monthly recurrent schedule for not every one month. (Ex: Every other month)
Yearly recurrent schedule.
Among Daily/Weekly/Monthly recurrent schedule, some days are changed.
( However, the data changed in Palm handheld is synchronized to Cybozu Schedule 4 as new data.)

Data not synchronized from the Palm OS handheld to Cybozu Office.
Schedule out of Time Period of HotSync Action for Cybozu Scheduler 4.
All Day Event
Recurrent schedule on every month ends
Holiday data registered in Schedule 4

ToDo List

Information that cannot be uploaded from PalmOS handheld to ToDo List 4.
Information without ToDo Name

Information that cannot be downloaded from Cybozu ToDo List 4 to the PalmOS handheld.

ToDo History
"Category" created in ToDo List 4.

Address Book

Address that is not uploaded from PalmOS handheld to Cybozu Address Book.

Private Address.

Address that does not have corresponding field to Required field in Address Book.

Setting

PalmOS handheld Cybozu Office 4

Don't you set "Cybozu overwrites handheld" in conduit Action Setting?

Please reload and check again.

Some items are not reflected in Cybozu Address 4.

Please set up "Address Field Setting for HotSync Action".


Q8. What kind of problems?

HotSync stops and freezes while synchronizing.
Isn't the other sync application installed? Other sync application may not be used for Cybozu Sync.
