How did Celestix find out about Cybozu? |
About 2 years ago, we were searching on the Internet, looking for intranet solutions. We had the criteria that it had to be web-based, and it had to run on Linux to be useful to us. And it had to be lower priced than the Exchange server.

Has Celestix employed other groupware applications before? |
No. In my previous company, we used Exchange (Outlook) for its scheduling features, but takes way too may resources to maintain the Exchange server. |

How has Celestix been meeting information needs before implementing Cybozu products? |
Before Share360 we mainly used email and conference calls are our two means of communication. We currently have 3 offices; we are using Share360 in one office now, but we'd like to roll Share360 out in all offices. |

Implementation Issues & Reasons to Choose Cybozu |
1 |
Were there any problems during the roll out? |
No. Frankly, we were surprised it was so easy to implement. Also, the learning curve is very short for employees too. It is very straightforward. |
2 |
Why did you make the final decision to implement Cybozu products? |
We looked at a few companies. As I mentioned before, we needed a web-based application for primarily scheduling and file management. Most of the web applications we looked at don't have file management, so the Cabinet feature was quite important for us. We needed to centralize our filing system, to store information in one place, where people could find it.

Do you have a full-time administrator for Cybozu products? |

Share360 requires.minimum maintenance
we just let it run. It's been running over a year, and we've had no problems. |

Any
feedback from actual end users? |
File management could use more security; more access permissions (fixed in Share360 v2.0). We'd like IMAP for email, as we're trying not to use POP3 (fixed in Share360 v2.0). |

How are the end users using Cybozu products (Share360) everyday? |
Many use Scheduler for scheduling meetings and informing your coworker of meeting invitations. We also book resources, conference room, projectors, etc. We use the cabinet to exchange files. Those are the main functions.

Do
you offer any training? |
No. Like I said, it's pretty straightforward. |

What
are the strengths & weaknesses
of Cybozu products (Share360)? |
Overall strengths?
Share360 is pretty robust. It's really useful; the interface is user-friendly.
Overall weaknesses?
As I mentioned, the file permissions could be improved, but it's generally hard to pinpoint weaknesses. For the price you pay, we can't complain!
